Allow me to introduce myself...

Hi, I’m Amanda...

I’m a portrait photographer, hairstylist, and makeup artist serving Weddington and the Greater Charlotte area. I’ve spent more than 26 years helping people look and feel their best, and I’ve learned that confidence rarely comes from looking “perfect.” It comes from feeling comfortable enough to look like yourself.

That’s a huge part of how I photograph people. I’ll help with the details—hair, makeup, wardrobe, posing, lighting, and all the things you’re probably already worrying about—so you don’t have to know what to do in front of my camera. That’s my job.

When I’m not behind the camera or the salon chair, I’m usually in full mom mode. I’m married with two kids, and our life is a revolving door of school, cheer, music, sports, and one very large Goldendoodle.

I love traveling with my family, and I firmly believe the occasional girls’ trip is good for the soul. My faith is an important part of my life, I have a weakness for a great pair of sneakers, and after all these years in the beauty industry, I still genuinely love helping a woman look in the mirror and think, Oh—I look good.

Maybe that’s why portrait photography felt like such a natural extension of what I’d already been doing for years. Hair, makeup, posing, and lighting are all tools. What I really love is watching someone relax in front of my camera and seeing that little shift when she realizes, “Wait... I actually love how I look.”

That’s the experience I want to create for you.
