This is Abby!

She is a member of my Senior Ambassador Team for the class of '23! I photographed Abby at a beautiful wooded area in Weddington. Abby was so much fun and was game to add some serious glamour to her session! She truly got her magical Cinderella moment. You'll see that at the end of the post!

Here are some Fast Facts about Abby!

Where do you hope to attend college? Don't know yet- a big school with great campus life and medical programs.

What will you study there? Nursing

Who is the teacher that impacted you the most?

My health science teacher, Mrs. Raynor. I had her at Weddington High School during my junior year. She was always kind and wanted to know us as more than just a student. Her passion for medicine inspired me to look into the medical field, where I fell in love with the profession.

What is the best part about being a Senior?

The change in mindset- I am living in the present more because I know that it will be my last year here.

What is your dream job?

ER Nurse or Doctor in a big city hospital.

What is something about you that would surprise people?

I hate sweet tea. Many people think I am a sweet, blonde, southern belle but I tend to surprise people with my boyish nature. Although I love getting my nails done and putting on makeup, I would much rather wear my sweats, eat some wings, and watch football.

What is something you are grateful for?

The amazing support system I have. My friends, family, teachers, administrators, and coworkers have been so encouraging and loving. There is truly no one else I'd rather spend life with.

What is the best advice for parents have given you?

Put it in your past and move on- there is nothing you can do about it now, so learn from it and put your best foot forward.

What shout outs or thank you's that you would like to share?

Thank you to my parents and brothers for being the most loving family. The support and constant laughter has been the biggest blessing in my life.

I am honored to feature amazing Seniors, like Abby, in our community. I'm proud to help them document and celebrate this important year.

I love being able to create true art in a senior session. This session was so fun and I'm so grateful to Abby and her mom, Kim, for being willing to climb through rocks, trees, and creeks to get the shot!

Thank you so much to Abby and her mom, Kim, for being a part of my Team and being open to my vision. Your support is wonderful and so appreciated!

Congratulations, ABBY and the Class of '23!
